Scouts doing the presentation of colors of the United State of America. Let the Scout Color Guard come to your campus to perform a flag ceremony. We can do this at Back To School Nights, Open House, festivals, assemblies, and more.
Scouting units adopt schools and pledge to do a couple service projects or volunteer to help at some school events. Similar to the Adopt-A-Highway, scouts adopt your school. Units work directly with the principal of their chosen schools to determine the type of projects that need to be done. |

One of the core activities scouts do is community service. Today's schools are in need of volunteers. With today's single parent home, or both parents working, it has become more difficult for schools to get the help they need. That's were scouts come in and Do Their Best to help! |
Grounds Maintenance
Scouts maintain a garden as part of an Eagle Scout Project. It included redeveloping a blighted area into a butterfly garden, trail, and plants that are maintained by scouts.

Building the Community

Scouting For Food
Every November Scouts do a canned food collection drive to benefit the Second Harvest Food Bank. Last year we collected over 68,000 pounds of food.
Your school can participate by having collection boxes and designated dates for drop off. Our scouts will then collect the cans, load them up to their final destination. We may not be able to help everyone in need. Don't let not being able to help everyone, stop you from helping those that you can help! |
