Scout 75 Fest • Modification
Below are the pushcart modification instructions for the Scout 75 Fest - Drag Race & Obstacle Course. This would entail the majority of racers that took part in the Pack 271 Derby Race. This event is not a down hill. It is on a flat surface and consists of a drag race area and an obstacle course area.

The steering stops must be removed so the pushcart can make turns in and around the obstacle course. This is a simple 10 minute modification you can make by yourself, but a bit easier if you have some help.

After this modification is completed you should have the exact pieces of hardware shown above left over. If you have extra pieces you might have taken off too much. If you do not have all the pieces shown above, you may have left off a washer or lost a piece.

Steps to remove steering stops for this event
- Loosen ONLY the four outer bolts on the bottom of the front axle. DO NOT loosen or remove the middle one. Tighten the middle one.
- After removing them push the screws through gently. You made need to hammer them a bit.
- After removing the steering stops, you may want to save them for future use in safe place.
- Clean off excess wood shavings. You may want to touch up or fill the holes.
- Your axle should swing left to right as shown in the lower right picture.
