Troop 75 has met since 1927, and consecutively rechartered for over 60 straight years in the Anaheim - Garden Grove area. We have mentored over 135 Eagle Scouts. An Eagle Scout is the highest rank available in the Boy Scouts. This shows the ultimate dedication towards self-development. The scouts and parents of Troop 75 share a common goal to prepare our youth to become the next generation of caring, public minded leaders and citizens. Scouts that turn 14 are also invited to join Venturing Crew 75 for high adventure activities.

Boy Scout Ranks
There are currently over 130 merit badges.
To earn the top honor of Eagle Scout, one must earn a minimum of 21 total merit badges. Of those 21 merit badges, 13 of them MUST be specific Eagle Merit Badges such as Citizenship in the Nation, Cooking, and Camping. An additional 8 elective merit badges must also be completed. In addition to these merit badges, and other rank requirements, the scout must also complete their Eagle Scout Project, and Eagle Scout Project Board of Review before their 18th birthday. Boys progress at their own pace, and challenge themselves to grow into the best version of themselves. Here is a link to all the current merit badges. |
What are the age requirements to join Boy Scouts?
To join the Boy Scouts the child must fall within one of these ranges. If the child is younger than this, they would first become a Cub Scout. (See Cub Scouts information in the left area)
