Scouting For Food
Scouting for Food has been helping to collect canned food items for many years. It's an annual tradition and one of the ways that Scouts give back to their community. Each year the Scouts, friends, and family collect cans and bring them to our meetings. On Saturday, November 9th the items collected were taken to one of several collection facilities set up by the OCBSA (Orange County Boy Scouts of America) in conjunction with the Second Harvest Food Bank. There are Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, and Girl Scouts that participate in this great event of goodwill. Scouts with parents can go around to their neighborhood, friends, and family and ask for donations to help those less fortunate.
Thanks for all those that can help.
Scouts that participates can earn a patch that can be proudly displayed on vests, jackets, sashes, or other areas. Help Pack 75 and Troop 75 collect and help others. If you have a pick up for a larger donation, you can contact us at [email protected] for pick up, or call 714-277-6548.
