We had International Scouts visit us for the second year in a row. Last year we had a great visit from Yeppoon, Australia, and today we were blessed by a visit from Westown area of New Plymouth, New Zealand, in the Taranaki region of the North Island of New Zealand. We got an opportunity to exchange patches and other items. We showed them a slide show of our US Scouting.
We were also blessed to have on hand once again, LTC Albert Ayala, and his wife. We were honored when he presented us with a copy of the award we presented to him on behalf of the Normandy, France Council.
Then we all went and made hot dogs and s'mores. Scout 75 always welcomes our International Scouts to come by and visit us. We are so glad you did! Thank you to Russell and Mike for bringing the kids some cultural awareness! Thank you to LTC Albert Ayala for always being a great supporter of the Scouting movement. Thank you for your service!
